Maria Cristina Andretto

Following her passion for glass, she formes in Murano in the 80s, starting her entrepreneurial and artistic activity in 1985. She continues her professional career carrying out teaching activities within specialization schools and workshops in the Emilia Romagna region. She obtains national and international awards. The innate inclination for experimentation leads her to found D.I. PIU ’srl in order to explore new Murano glass and artistic glass lavoration techniques. The entrepreneurial idea that still continues to inspire her exploratory path is to create a unique and inimitable product, not serial but handmade, which maintains the artistic characteristics of Murano glass. Even the production process, entirely carried out by hand,leads to a product with a high stylistic and qualitative content, unalterable over time. Create art and surround yourself with it through unique but daily products, which harmonize functionality and beauty, practicality and aesthetic beauty.
